How To Check-in Reserved Guests

Checking in booked guests is super easy in Soraso PMS. Let’s see how it’s done!

1. Once you're logged in, head over to the front desk menu from the left sidebar.
2. For guests with reservations, head over to the "Today Arrival" tab. You’ll see a list of guests who haven't checked in yet.

Before we move on, let’s understand the room status codes in Soraso PMS.

There are two main types of room statuses for today's arrivals:

• Rooms assigned to guests are labeled as AC (Assigned and Cleaned) or AD (Assigned and Dirty).
• Rooms not yet assigned to guests are labeled as RS (Reserved).

Now, let’s continue with checking in a guest.

3. Assume a guest named Peter Soraso has arrived and wants to check in. We can find his name in the "Today Arrival" list because he booked earlier. Click on his name, and a context menu will pop up. Choose "Check In."
4. You’ll be redirected to a check-in form. Since most of the information is already provided in the reservation, the form will be pre-filled.
5. Check if the information is correct, then proceed by clicking the "Confirm" button at the bottom right.
6. The registration card will pop up for you to review all the information. Scroll down to the end of the modal. The guest's signature is required. If you're using a mobile device, let the guest sign on your device. Otherwise, you can just make a simple dot by clicking, then print the registration card for the guest to sign.

And that’s how you check in a guest with a reservation!
