How To Create a Trace Type

In this tutorial, we will show you how to create a new trace type. Let’s get started.

1. Once you’ve logged in, click the module selection button and select the Property Center System (PCS) module.
2. From the left sidebar, find the "Trace Setup" menu and click on it.
3. In the main trace setup screen, select the "Trace Type" tab at the top.
4. Once you’re in the trace type screen, click "New" to create a new trace type.
5. The trace type setup screen will pop up.
6. Enter the trace feature code and fill out all other required fields.
7. Give the trace feature a name, for example, "booking trace."
8. Click the plus sign icon and select the operations for which this trace type should be used.
9. Lastly, click "Save" to finalize the setup of the new trace type.
