How To Make a New Trace

The trace function is used by hoteliers to communicate internally across departments. For example, the front office may request the housekeeping department to place an extra bed in a guest room. So, how do you create a new trace in SORASO PMS? Let’s get started.

  1. After you’ve logged in, head over to the "Trace & Track" menu from the left sidebar.
  2. You’ll be navigated to the main trace screen, which will show a list of all traces you’ve made.
  3. To create a new trace, click the "Make Trace" button at the top. The "Make Trace" window will pop up.
  4. Complete all required fields such as trace template, type of trace, who to assign it to, when to alert, and so on.
  5. Once done, click "Save." The person or department you’ve assigned the trace to will be reminded on the date and time you’ve specified.

And that’s how you create a new trace in SORASO PMS.
