How To Make Party Reservations

In Soraso PMS, we offer a unique "party reservation" option specifically tailored for social gatherings, such as friends and family get-togethers.

While party reservations share similarities with group reservations, allowing guests to book multiple rooms simultaneously, they cater to a distinct segment.

Unlike group reservations, which are often associated with business or formal events, party reservations are designed for leisure and celebratory occasions.

This distinction helps hotels effectively serve both business and leisure guests by aligning their services and amenities with the specific needs of each customer segment.

Are you ready to see how to make a party reservation? Let’s dive in!

1. First, head over to the reservation menu. Click on the "Make Reservation" button to navigate to the new booking screen.
2. Next, click the magnifier icon to filter available rooms based on your preferences, such as the date or length of stay. Select your conditions and click "Check." You'll see all the available rooms that match your filter.
3. Just like you do when making normal reservations, pick a room type by clicking the pencil icon in the same row. You'll be asked to choose details like the number of rooms and guests. For our example, we’re making a party reservation for three rooms with two adults each. Once you've made your selections, click "Confirm."
4. To proceed, click "Add to Cart and Continue" at the bottom right of the screen. This will take you to the booking form. Here, fill out the necessary booking information and add guest profile details. You can explore other forms as needed.
5. To designate this reservation as a party, navigate to the "Group and Party" section. Select the "Party" option and enter a party code and name of your choice. Complete the remaining fields as you would for an individual reservation.
6. Once everything is filled out, click "Confirm" at the bottom right.
