Posting Instruction - Post A Charge Before Guest Arrival

How To Post A Charge Before Guest Arrival

Sometimes, guests request extra services before their arrival, such as an additional bed or adding an extra person to their booking.

In this video, I'll show you how to post a charge to a guest's booking before their arrival using Soraso PMS.

  1. First, go to the reservation menu and find the booking that needs the charge. For instance, a guest named Dave wants to check in early. You can use the search function to locate Dave’s booking.
  2. Click the filter button at the top right, type the name in the search bar, adjust the date range as needed, and then click search. Once you find the booking, click on the reference number highlighted in blue.
  3. This will take you to the edit booking screen. Click on “Posting Instruction” and then click the “New” button. A modal will pop up where you can select the folio type of your choice. Choose the item you want to post, enter the actual price you want to charge, and fill out other fields if you need.
  4. When you're done, click confirm. Your recent charge should now appear. Finally, click confirm at the bottom right to save the changes.

And that's it! That's how you post a charge to a guest's booking in Soraso PMS.
