How To Set Rooms As OOI/OOO/OOS

Sometimes rooms need to be blocked for sales on various purposes like maintenance, inspection, or any unique reasons.

That’s when you need to change room statuses to OOI (Out of inventory), OOO (Out of order), or OOS (Out of service) to prevent sales of unready rooms.

Let’s get straight to how to do it.

1. Once you're logged in, head over to the front desk menu from the left sidebar.
2. To change room statuses to OOI, OOO, and OOS, rooms must be vacant. Make sure you check-out occupied rooms and clear reservations for the rooms first before proceeding.
3. Next filter only vacant rooms either clean or dirty by using the search function.
4. Put in parameters VC and VD. And press the search button.
5. Find the room you want to block and click on it.
6. A context menu will pop up. Select OOI, OOO, or OOS.
7. A form will pop up. Fill out all the required fields in the form and save.

And it’s done. You have changed the room status to blocked.
