How To Undo Check-In

Mistakes can happen on a busy day, like checking in the wrong guests to the wrong rooms. Well, Soraso PMS understands. In this video, I’ll show you how to undo check-ins. Please note that to undo a check-in, you must clear any outstanding folio of the room you want to undo the check-in for, and the room must have been checked in on the same day. Let’s get started!

1. Once you’re on the front desk screen, find the room you want to undo the check-in for. Remember, you can always use the search function to find a room quickly.
2. After you’ve found the room you want to undo the check-in for, click on it.
3. A context menu will pop up. Select "Edit Check-In."
4. Now you should be on the edit check-in screen. Click the "Undo Check-In" button at the top.
5. An undo check-in window will appear. You need to enter a reason to let others know why you are undoing the check-in.
6. Type in the reason in the remark area or use commonly used remarks from the remark template by clicking the magnifier icon.
7. Additionally, you can add your own remarks to the template by clicking the "New" button, then "Add." Enter the remark you would like to add and click "Save."
8. Once you’ve entered the reason for undoing check-in, click confirm to finalize the process.
